Northeast Indiana Neighborhood Engagement’s mission is to connect neighborhoods with churches & people with Christ.

Communities Transformed
Northeast Indiana Neighborhood Engagement (NINE) had the great privilege to encourage and inspire students at Lutheran South Unity School (LSUS) in Fort Wayne to teach culture curriculum. Pastor King was the speaker for the 8th Grade Graduation at LSUS in May 2022. During the graduation event, NINE was able to gift the fifteen 8th graders the book called “Sulwe” which inspires students to see their own unique beauty. Throughout this past 2021-2022 school year, NINE gave 110 food boxes each month out to LSUS families.
Grassroots Leadership
We want to give God our very best as He gave us His. That means we will work together to accomplish more than working alone, which led to the NINE idea. Work alongside of our local churches located in specific areas of the city, giving them the financial resources and trained laborers. NINE is currently developing leaders within the community with a passion to serve.

Church Partnership
We are more alike than we are different. NINE seeks to serve, bring hope & tools to help others have a sense of belonging in our community. Build a bridge to connect people to the hope of Christ’s love found in our area churches.
Each year, we continue to partner with several other churches throughout the city including Bethlehem Lutheran, Holy Cross Lutheran, Zion Lutheran and Shepherd of the City. Are you ready to start building bridges in our community?
